Of course, what he shouted was: IT IS FINISHED! The Author and Finisher of our faith OPENED the way to the holy of holies. The new testament went into effect with the -death- of the Testator.

Therefore, the old testament was no longer binding on the saints which slept. Mary's sister Martha, (who didn't sit at Jesus' feet learning the word of God,) was under the false assumption that the resurrection at the last day was the only resurrection. She realized her error when she saw her brother Lazarus HOPPING out of the sepulchre! (Yeah! He was BOUND hand and foot with graveclothes! :)

It was "after" Jesus' resurrection that the saints appeared.

In the the pure word of God, every jot, tittle, and verse is essential to the whole. Why do you Personify the spoken or written word of God, by using UPPER-case "Word" and "Scriptures", when the word of God always uses lower-case "w" except when referring to the PERSON of Jesus himself as the "Word"? The LORD magnifies his "word" above all his name! [Psm.138:2] The words of the LORD -are- pure words indeed! (Let no man deceive you other wise. :)
