 Cluster of Disciples

> (R3) Drank, Drunk, Drunken (R3Drank.96Jan29:23:55.FAQ)

>>>Curious Questioner> I heard one man say that the reason the disciples could not stay awake was because of the wine that they had with the Passover meal.
>>RC> Nonsense. It was well after their normal bedtime. And there is NO mention of "wine" in any of the accounts of the last supper. They had the "fruit of the vine" there, and the grapes were freshly "pressed" into the "cup."
>CQ> Come on... denying the entire Body of Christian testimony?
No, Friend. All true Christians believe the pure word of God as it is written, and reject the LEAVEN of Pharisees and Seducers that seek to SPOIL true Christians with their deceitful philosophy.
>CQ> What did the early Christians use in their Eucharist Richard?
No blood-bought Bible-believing Christian would dare drink the damnable alcoholic corruption of the eucharistic cup of devils. When observing the true "Lord's supper", real Christians do as the apostles in the upper room did, THANKFULLY divide the blessed cup of fruit among all, BLESS and BREAK the true bread of life, and SQUEEZE the grapes to shed the pure blood of the grape, properly discerning the Lord's body. (The bread wasn't his literal body, his literal body was holding the bread. Let no man deceive you other wise.)
>CQ> The wine had alcohol in it...otherwise, how could Jesus ever be accused of "being a drunkard" for drinking wine with sinners by the Pharisee's?
Why do you justify the childish "wisdom" of the Pharisees instead of justifying the Lord? You have no more idea than them, what, if anything, the Lord drank when out of sight in a publican's house.
>CQ> There accusation implicates that the wine Jesus drank was alcoholic in content... the only lie in the statements of the Pharisee's was that Jesus drank excessivly.
There is no truth in any false accusation against the Lord of glory.
>>>CQ> Not to say that one sould walk into church with a beer...
>>RC> Do you think a church-building is more holy than the BODY of a saint, which is the temple of the Holy Ghost? And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, where by ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption!
>CQ> Actually the reference you are speaking of reffers to believers as a group; they are "the temple".
Bible-believers in a group are verily a CLUSTER of a "sweet savour."
