Ex-Satanist's View of Halloween

From an Interview with an Ex-Satanist-- re: Halloween
(Excerpts from Jul/Aug'89 article in "Battle Cry" [Chino,CA])
• Interviewer-- When you were in the Brotherhood for 17 years, what significance was Halloween in your Satanic celebrations?
• Ex-Satanist-- It was considered Satan's birthday and was the most important day of the year.
• Interviewer-- How was it celebrated?
• Ex-Satanist-- Always with a blood sacrifice. Some of the lesser covens would use animals, but the Brotherhood always used a human. In fact, it was a three-day affair. On Oct. 29, an animal was sacrificed. On the 3Oth, an animal and a human of lesser purity were killed and on the 3lst the slow, tortured death of the most pure human available, preferably a virgin, was the center of the frenzied ritual. The Crusaders comic, BROKEN CROSS, illustrates how convenient it is to pick up a hitchhiker for this purpose. Often a baby will be used. Usually it is a baby born for this purpose by a mother in the craft called a "breeder."
• Interviewer-- Most Christians see Halloween as just another party time. What connection is there between such rituals and the funzy trick-or-treating?
• Ex-Satanist-- For one thing, the symbolism of witches, goblins, etc. glorify Satan. Christians have no business being involved in this. Secondly, the increase in injuries from sabotaged treats is not accidental. Satanists are using it to increase the blood sacrifices on this "special day." Satan is so mad at God that he will not overlook any opportunity to bring destruction to God's creatures. The more he can kill the better he likes it.
• Interviewer-- Then should Christians participate in any way in Halloween celebrations?
• Ex-Satanist-- Yes, there are ways to beat Satan at his own game. It is best not to have costume parties, though. One of the main tools of Satan is to get man off into fantasy land. Any activity that takes man's imagination away from truth and reality opens a doorway for Satan. Christians should find a way to warn the world (or their neighborhood) of the Satanic nature of Halloween. The more true Christians we have in the land who know the truth about this evil day, the smaller will be Satan's birthday "party."
