A Christian Perspective of Halloween

 A Christian Perspective  of Halloween

"This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:"
(Ephesians 4:17,18 - Author's Version 1611AV)

• Many so-called "Christians" will allow and even encourage their children to pay respect to the devil on October 31st.

• The custom of Halloween is traced to the Druid festival of the dead. The Druid "god of the dead" was honored at Halloween in Britain, France, Germany and the Celtic countries. Summer's End ("Samhain") was a calling together of all WICKED souls who died that year and that some thought were destined to inhabit animals. It was generally believed that souls (or spirits) of the dead returned to their former homes to be entertained by the living.

Bonfires were built on hill tops so they might find their way. Suitable "treats" were provided for them, lest they cast spells, cause havoc, steal infants, destroy crops, kill and haunt, etc. That supplication of evil spirits is the action that today's "Trick-or-Treat" imitates. Practitioners of witchcraft declare October 31st ("when the veil between the worlds is thinner") as the best time to practice "the craft".

Halloween and All Saints Day are just the abominations of paganism with changed names. Many pagan / satanic practices have been absorbed into catholicism worldwide. The open practice of witchcraft in the dark ages (middle ages) went into a mystery form for a time, but now is being propagated openly again.

Trick-or-Treat came from an ancient Druid practice of witchcraft which sought to control the will of another by use of fear. Even in jest, when one threatens to punish if a treat or offering is not given, they are imitating characteristics of people POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL!

There really are demonic spirits which are contacted and activated as people call out to them in jest or in seriousness. This honoring of false gods is satanic, and even those who say they worship spirits of "nature" are in reality just contacting devilish spirits of darkness.

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience." (Eph.2:2)

The Bible instructs us to have NOTHING to do with the deeds of darkness. Both Christian and Jew are forbidden to participate in those dark and occult practices. Be not deceived.

You say: "But we only do this in fun...we don't practice witchcraft." Nevertheless, you have entered into the satanic realm!

Halloween is just tribute to "the force" known in the Bible as Satan. There is no place in the life of the Christian for such DARKNESS.

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2Cor.3,4)

Have no fellowship with the works of darkness, but rather, reprove them! "Awake thou that sleepest, and Christ shall give thee light." The grace of that Jesus who is the Lord be with you. Amen. --Richard
