A brief survey of
SATANISM in the 20th Century

"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. • Now, if there's anything the Bible makes clear; it makes it clear in that passage, that in the last days before the Lord Jesus Christ shows up, the devil's going to show up. Before the LORD's Christ returns, the devil's "christ" shows up: the counterfeit. (The Beast)
• Everywhere, the Bible takes it for granted, that there ARE supernatural powers, there ARE unclean spirits, there ARE demons or devils; it's taken for granted in either Testament.
• The Holy Bible says in Acts chapter 10, verse 38, that Jesus Christ came "healing all that were oppressed of the devil"! The Bible says of Paul's ministry that he came, to turn the people "from the power of Satan unto God."(Acts 26:18p) The Bible says in 1John 3:8, that the Lord Jesus Christ was "manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
• Modern witchcraft tries to make "the craft" out to be good. Witch Leek said, "I know of Covens that exist in Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Cincinnati (very strong in Cincinnati), Baltimore..."
• Some people think that ALL mental illness and mental disturbance is due to demons and the devil; But the Bible says, "Comfort the feeble minded." The LORD makes some men dumb and some men deaf. You can't blame everything on the devil. Some things are YOUR fault or someone else's fault.
| "And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by Soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. • The LORD said, "And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM!"--Isaiah 8:19,20
• The Holy scriptures testify saying, "If thine eye is evil, thy body is full of darkness and HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS!"
• What sets Biblical Christianity apart from all this world's religions is that we have an infallible, absolute, AUTHORITY, that's in a BOOK! And Listen, If you ever lose your absolute, infallible written authority....You're just like any [heathen] religion in the world.
• And someone says, "What about the Koran?" It doesn't have any prophetic history in it! The Holy Bible is the ONLY book that tells you the details of future history and it never misses! It's the fortune telling book. It's the sooth saying book. It IS the divination! The King James 1611 Authorized Version: The Author's Version: The LORD's Bible!
• The very central verse of THAT Bible says: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8) The center two words: THE LORD!
• You better beware of anyone who tries to con you into accepting some other authority than the Lord's Authority!
• Listen friend, Jesus is the Lord, and in him dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily. Only in that Christ are you complete. Any other "christ" is a counterfeit!
• Now I want to tell you something. You may meddle with these occult powers and get so POSSESSED by them and so controlled by them that you'll think you're the devil himself! But listen friend....You'll NEVER get away from the word of God! When you enter the realm of Satan, you enter the realm of the one who has devoted his career to getting rid of that Book, and you'll run right into THE BOOK again!
• If you're a young person, you're most susceptible to these things. You look for authority and leadership and things about the future; and a guide. And some of you mess with it. You have been messin' with it, you've been playin' with it. And LISTEN: If you keep playing with it, it's going to get worse and worse, and pretty soon it's going to
• Do you know what you ought to do?
• You ought to get the Holy Bible open and get down on your knees and read about TEN chapters out of THAT book on your knees and ask God to set your mind FREE and take these things away from you. You may think that it's all-right, but in the Bible, It is Satanic! You've got NO business fooling with it! You may still suffer the after-effects or the side-effects from fooling with it for years afterwards.
• You may say, "If you knew what I know." I probably do! ...or you may say, "But if you saw what happened that I saw happen..." I've seen them happen! And, FRIEND, I'll tell you, the ONLY Safe Place is a refuge in the word of God and The LORD Jesus Christ!
• You need to receive the Lord Jesus as your Saviour and turn from your sins to the living and true God. I'm not talking about receiving a cup of wine: Bacchus has the cup of wine. I'm not talking about taking a so-called "holy wafer", devil worshippers have that. I'm talking about receiving a Risen Living Saviour who died for YOUR SINS!

| Let's have a word of prayer: Holy Father, deal with the hearts of these reading this in this hour. Reveal The Lord Jesus Christ to them, not as some vulgarized superstar or some obscene J.C., but as the Living Saviour of All men, especially them that believe. And LORD, if there's anyone reading this that is unsaved, I pray they'll trust Jesus the Lord as their Saviour and turn from Darkness to LIGHT and from the power of Satan to GOD; and have NEW LIFE! Lord Jesus, I ask you to be with those that are NOT under conviction or are indifferent or blinded or insensible to the Light, and that you will open their hearts and minds and show them the Truth of Thy word! For Jesus' Sake. Amen. (Amen! :) |

| Again, LORD Jesus, Give those that believe in You, Your blessing and Your power. Keep us covered by the Blood, the cleansing Blood of Jesus Christ. LORD, rebuke the devils in us and through us and around us and clear a way for us in this life. We come to Thee, Father by grace. We need thy help all the time, we need Thee every hour, Lord we need Thee every minute and second. Lord, don't let us be trapped, or tricked or seduced by beguiling spirits, in any kind of a lie. Help us, and undertake for us. I plead the Blood of Christ! For the sake of these whom thou lovest! Amen. (Plead THE BLOOD! :) |
